This years Twin Peaks fest was my first but I have a definite feeling it won’t be my last. Everybody was so nice, both the other fans as well as the actors.

The actor of Harold Smith, Lenny von Dohlen, is kind of captivating, aside from his hair he looks like he hasn’t aged at all and his cracking voice gives me the shivers.

Unfortunately Sherilyn Fenn (Audrey Horne) was not at the film night and she left the celebrity dinner early but she seemed like a really positive person and she was very sweet at the picnic.

Jan D’Arcy, who played Sylvia Horne on the show, talked to me about the salt mines in Austria when she signed my copy of Laura Palmer’s secret diary. It was awesome!

Ronette Pulaski was portrayed by Phoebe Augustine who is so much more down-to-earth than most “non-famous” people I know. She was great when I asked her to take a picture with me.

Surprise guest of the year was Ray Wise (Leland Palmer). That man truly has charism and a sense of humor. It’s almost unbelievable that he plays bad guys so often.

I didn’t know it was possible but Sheryl Lee managed to make me love her even more. I approached her before the Q&A and initially I just wanted to tell her how much I admired her performance especially in Fire Walk With Me. But in my nervousness I started rambling and told her about my film “The owls are not what they seem” and the play I did, “And there’s always music in the air” and how she inspired me to play Laura Palmer. Sheryl said a lot of nice things and then she told me to never stop expressing myself creatively. <3 Then she asked me where I was from and if I had come to the States just for the festival and when I said yes she came around the table and hugged me.
